Merit movies organizers of 'Ghana Must Go' movie premiere which had the biggest turnout in the movie premiere industry in the garden city, are set to rock Kumasi again with yet another trilling twin of premieres on Saturday 2nd April at the KNUST CCB Auditorium. The first show is 6pm and the second show is 9pm.
The Sparrow movie festival which hit Accra in January is to be repeated back in Kumasi with premiere of 'Rebecca' and 'Shampaign'. Rebecca features Yvonne Okoro and Joseph Benjamin. It looks at a love tale where the two are abandoned and lost in the middle of a deserted road, and the guy gets a rude awakening when he begins to realize that his only companion, a timid looking village girl who he had been forced to marry only a few hours earlier is anything but ordinary.
Shampaign is a political series and features Joselyn Dumas, Nana Aba Anamoah, John Dumelo, Fred Amugi and Augustine Abbey popularly known as Idikoko. The movie looks at the life of a very outspoken lady as she decides to lead a major political party to victory in a nation election.
For the first time in the city, the audience will get to watch the two entrancing movies on one night. The catch to the whole night is the red carpet moment where the audience will get to take pictures with the stars and the free pass for all who buy the movie ticket to the after party at the plush lounge inside the KNUST Jubilee mall.
Tickets are said to be running out for the show and hands are crossed to see if the city will witness another mammoth crowd.
Tickets are available at Opoku trading, Ababio Express, Luv fm front desk and at KNUST campus.
